Athirappilly & Vazhachal Waterfalls Private Day Tour from Kochi

My driver was very pleasant and attentive. The waterfalls were nice to look at. The monkeys were cute however don’t eat anything around them as they will swipe it. I guess I was not expecting the drive to be so long, however it was nice to see the the different Indian landscape of forest and jungle. Also be aware if you have a camera they charge extra for entry On the way back I was taken to a gift shop, I was very tired, after a long day of travel, I felt obligated to buy something which irritated me at 1st however I ended up buying a wooden elephant which I really like and it fitted into my suitcase, so it all ended well. This tour was ok, I think the long drive was just to long and I felt I wasted my day in a car when I had limited time so that’s my fault.

The waterfalls were lovely to look at, and the journey up through the forest was very pretty. The company had no problem adjusting the itinerary to suit our rather tight time frame. Car was comfortable and had a/c, very important, and we were supplied with cold water to drink. Can't comment on the meal as we eliminated that from our schedule. Recommended.
