Wonderful day
, Mar 2020
Our tour guide was wonderful. We really enjoyed seeing Stonehenge and Bath is a beautiful city. It was a wonderful day.
Day well spent

Excellent tour for those looking to have a day out of the city. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. They give you enough time to explore on your own and they take the longer, scenic route back to London.
Does what it says on the tin

It was exactly as expected. Tara the guide is friendly and considerate. I would recommend this tour.
Overall Great Tour!

Great experience! The guide and driver were very pleasant and more than willing to make our experience an enjoyable one. The day was just about the perfect length to really get to explore both places. The only two things I would’ve changed: 1. The drivers cologne was SO strong. It made me a little ill. I think anyone on a bus for so long should limit the cologne/perfume. 2. Would’ve liked 15-30 more minutes in Bath. The time in Stonehenge was perfect. Other than passengers that were late upon departure which they can do very little about except leave them, I highly recommend this tour.
Rather economical way to visit both Stonehenge and Bath
, Jan 2020
It is a rather cheap way to reach both Stonehenge and Bath. Explanations from the guide were quite poor in terms of historical accuracy (mixing ice ages and neolithic regarding Stonehenge), however, we spent a nice day.

Hi there, Thank you for your review. We are glad that you found the tour to be cheap to reach both Bath and Stonehenge. However, our guides are very experienced and are long serving tour guides in their field . I find it hard to believe that the guide mixed up different ages while on route. We are glad you spent a nice day with us. Thanks for reviewing. Day Tours London.
Must visit places in UK

Not bad for a day tour. Guides were helpful and friendly. They gave a lot of information on the stonehenge and its myths. Perhaps it was enlightening.

Hi there, Thanks for reviewing this tour, but it sounds like this tour could have been a 4* star review or more. Your comments that you gave deserve more than 3 stars. Sounds all very positive here on this review! Thank you. Day Tours London.
Amazing adventure! Fun and a nice break from London!
, Jan 2020
This trip was a delight! What I also appreciated was that during the ride to stonehenge and to Bath our tour guide talked about some fun facts on both places and then during the other half of the ride he was quiet to allow some people to get some rest on the ride - relaxing and informative! Our tour guide was friendly, kind, and timely. Expect a lot of walking. We spent about 1 1/2 hour at stonehenge and a little over 3 hours in Bath. They both felt just the right amount of time for my husband and I to explore and grab lunch at Bath. If you are wanting to spend more time than that at each place, then I highly recommend that you do the Bath and Stonehenge visit on separate days to make the most of everything. During our 3 hour visit in Bath, my husband and I had lunch at a pub, toured the Roman Baths, took a 10 minute walk through Bath Abbey (beautiful!), and had some ice cream! We usually like to take our time which was why we didn't visit more sites in Bath - didn't want to rush anything. We visited Stonehenge in December, and although we dressed warm, we did not expect the wind - I was grateful I brought my scarf and beanie! Not sure what the weather is like during other times of the year at Stonehenge. This day trip was a nice break from touring the busy city of London. I would recommend this trip to anyone who is ready to walk a lot of steps.
Great guide

Loved our guide, Garreth, wealth of knowledge and made the tour fun and interesting. Beautiful tour even in winter. Worth doing especially of you are not up to planning it on your own. Wish they had wifi on the bus.
Hit and miss

The tour started out okay and I thought I was in for a fantastic day. Stonehenge was amazing. We had our ticket checked and hopped onto a shuttle bus to the site (5 minutes). After we returned to the cafe etc. we were met by a very grumpy attendant at the entrance to the little museum. It was annoying that we had to again find our tickets in order to enter after we had already stashed them somewhere. The attendant was rude and unhelpful. In Bath, the guide walked ahead of us on the short tour and whilst she was very funny and knowledgeable, she made no attempt to get to know us or make conversation. On the journey home she listened to one passenger who was feeling hot (even though it was freezing and the middle of winter) and turned the air conditioner up!! Everyone else on the bus were wearing coats and hats inside the bus in an attempt to keep warm. After 1.5 hours we asked that the air conditioner be turned off and she did bit a short time later it was turned back in again. It was unfair to only take the needs of 1 passenger into account while the rest of us froze! It was a long day and what made the 3 hour journey home even worse was the radio/music that was playing through a distorted and crackly speaker for 3 hours! A would’ve been good if the tour guide Alecia made some attempt to get to know everyone in the small group even to ask where we were from for starters!!

Dear Debra H, Thanks for reviewing this tour. We are sorry to hear that the attendant was grumpy who checked your tickets, please note that this is not our fault and we do not know who the attendant was. I am sorry that you felt your tour guide did not make an effort to get to know everyone on the bus or the walk but I am sure she did her best , it is not easy get to know everyone on a 1 day tour. Kind Regards, Day Tours London.

A very comfortable bus took us to Stonehenge and Bath. Our guide, Gareth, was congenial and gave excellent tips for enjoying the sites. Wish that we could have had more time at each - so much to see and marvel at.
