Went March 5 and our tour guide was very friendly. Well versed on Rock music including interesting tidbits. Made a rest stop at Bill Wyman's diner of the Rolling Stones and enjoyed a pint. The highlight was stopping at Abbey Road studios. Our guide was very kind and took pictures of the famous cross walk. Great way to take a trip back to the golden years of the London Rock years.

This tour is an absolute must for music lovers! Our guide, Lee, was funny, informative, and helpful in taking photos for us. We visited important sites throughout London, got out of the bus for photos at Garden Lodge (Freddie Mercury's home), Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers (restaurant), Abbey Road, Paul McCartney's house, and the building where the Beatles last played together live (on the rooftop). We also drove by many important recording studios, and the homes of Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Robbie Williams, Paul McCartney, Freddie Mercury & Mary Austin (another home besides Garden Lodge). We heard stories of all artists ranging from skiffle music to 1970's rock, covering a wide range of artists like Queen, Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Sex Pistols, Carly Simon, Brian Eno, and many more. Lee's sense of humor and vast knowledge made this a fantastic, memorable experience!!

Different experience than advertised/expected....

First, the negatives. The listing for this was incorrect in many places. It states an all day, 8 hour tour (still does) on the web site, but it is 4.5 hours during winter hours. I contacted customer service twice; the first time I was told it was 8 hours as listed on the site, the second time that it was shorter. The description also states a maximum of 16 people in the headed, then it says 25 people in the further descriptions. Yet we had a full tour bus with an excess of 40 people on our tour, so it was not like I had expected it to be. The sound system on the bus was extremely difficult to hear, and the music they played through a large speaker then in to the bus sound microphone was worthless. The guide was good, but was so crunched for time to speak that we were often past landmarks before he could point them out. The Sticky Fingers cafe is a tourist trap, not much of any good Stones memorabilia. On the positive side, the tour guide was good and knew his rock history, and did the best he could with the aforementioned limitations. We were able to see neighborhoods in London that we might not have otherwise have seen on our trip which was cool.

For anyone nostalgic for the 60's and beyond, this was a great tour. Our guide Colin was excellent and had a wealth of knowledge and I hadn't fully appreciated the evolution of music with the inter-mingling of both art and pop scenes as the Beatles story took off. The guide asked for specific music groups of interest so for our larger group and a bigger bus, it was pretty broad, but he did a great job of referencing others like the Eagles, Stones, Queen and much more.

BEST Rock Tour EVER!!!

Lee, our driver was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and geared the tour to our specific groups favorites. The trip was a gift for my partners 69th birthday, and when Lee found out my partner was a die hard Queen fan, he took us to 2 more of Freddie's properties, and made it a truly unforgettable experience. Then Lee spotted Jimmy Page walking out of his house, and gave us time to ohhh and ahhh like a bunch of teen age groupies. Abby Road, Sticky Fingers bar, and so much more. I would go back again, and HIGHLY recommend to anyone who loves rock, and enjoys a bit of history, music, and fun. Thank You, Jeanne and Mike Long Island, NY
